Louboutin Karistrap 70 Black Suede 16W

The Karistrap 70 is my current favorite on the go pair of shoes. The low heel is great for everyday wear and for when I'm out and about doing errands. I got these in 34.5 which fits perfectly but like most Christian Louboutin heels, the designs have a narrow foot so after a while they still get a tad sore. I didn't get a chance to take a photo of these beauties and I was in a hurry to wear them out and break them in as soon as I got my hands on these and I've been wearing them a bit that I need to get the soles repaired soon or repainted. I love the suede over the leather and it just goes with everything!!

Louboutin Kate 85 Black-Loubi Patent Degraloubi "DECOLLETE 554" 19S

I was hooked on the red and black color combo and graffiti style letter pattern when I was looking for a low heel pair of shoes which could be worn to both casual and formal occasions. Minding my own business while walking around in Neiman Marcus after eating lunch at the Rotunda, I spotted these cuties in size 34.5. It's the Decollete 554 which is now renamed to Kate 85 in the Patent Degraloubi. I love tall heels but having something that is more comfortable for everyday wear is also attractive to me. I've been wearing these quite a bit and they go with a lot of casual outfits, white top and jeans, or just with black leggings!

Louboutin Pigalle Plato 120 Black Patent Leather Classic

The first pair of Louboutin Heels that I fell in love with and what got me hooked to this brand. These are the Pigalle Plato 120 in Black Patent Leather in size 34.5 from their Classic Collection. I heard Louboutins run small so I wasn't sure if I should get the 34.5 or 35 but I also heard that the leather will stretch after some wear so I went with the 34.5. I had to order these from the Las Vegas Boutique Shop since they were sold out online and unavailable in the SF Flagship Store.

What can I say? Simple black heels, both feminine and dangerous. I was debating on the 100 or 120 but seeing that there is a slight platform, I went with the 120. These look amazing with anything you wear, or not wear...and I have so many outfit ideas for these babies. The toe box is a bit narrow so only slight discomfort after a few hours, though beauty is pain!

Angelic Pretty Spring/Summer 2019 : Un Birthday

This is the last print release from Angelic Pretty's Spring/Summer 2019 Collection and is also a special collaboration with Imai Kira. I like the print itself but the cuts don't jump out at me, though I'm leaning towards sax or grey. I'm curious to see what other prints will be next for the next collection in the Fall/Winter!

Weekly Wellness : Week 20 (May 13 - May 19)

Apologies for the lack of updates the past 3 weeks. I said to myself that I would be good about blogging and updating even if it's nothing major going on. I am currently in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for a work related trip with some pleasure. Left May 13th evening and got to Addis Ababa on Wednesday midnight, and it's now been a week since I left home. Trip has been slightly extended due to thunderstorms and work. I do miss home though, even though it's a place with beautiful nature all around.

It's very eye opening and interesting being in a 3rd World Country where there is a clear divide of those who have money and those who do not. I spend most my days in the hotel but in my free time I went to Addis Ababa University to see the African Studies Museum and I went to Etoto Museum. Such a beautiful culture and history.

I also went to a Cultural Show where they have traditional Ethiopian music and instruments and dance along with food! I'd say I'm pretty open minded when it comes to food but I also want to be careful not to get sick here as I have about another week left.

Places don't really have numbers or signs, there is no 'Yelp' for restaurants, power outages are the norm though you'd wish you known while stuck in the elevator, people are friendly and speaks English, Italian food here is amazing due to them trying to colonize, and way of life and customs are very different!

Angelic Pretty Spring/Summer 2019 : Magical Horoscope

This is definitely going to be a popular release! I saw this in person during the Angelic Pretty Dinner Event and it's very beautiful and I love the print. I think stars and constellations have always been a popular motif for prints in Lolita Fashion. I also like that it comes in 3 'sky' colors, with 2 fun cuts. Though a skirt version would be super cute too!

Angelic Pretty Spring/Summer 2019 : Sugar Sky

I missed posting this earlier this month when this small series released so I'm back tracking. This is a non-print but super cute dress Sugar Sky from their Spring/Summer 2019 Collection! I really like the style and cut of the OP and the gradient effect suits the starry sky pattern.

Currently finishing up my mini vacation/mini food tour...

to be continued...

Angelic Pretty Spring/Summer 2019 : Fleur Cat

I love anything to do with cats so this is a must have in my closet! I'm torn between the pink/lavender and the yellow/sax color way however the cuts are not my favorite. I'm curious to see how popular this series will turn out. I saw the print in person and the fabric is really lovely and not chiffon! Thank Goodness, otherwise I'd just nick it as soon as I wear it!

Weekly Wellness : Week 15 (April 8 - 14)

Some days are good, and some are alright. I don't want to sound overly dramatic but the past week I haven't had much motivation to do anything. While I don't think depression is quite the word I'm looking for, I needed some time to myself and just do this whole 'self-care' thing. Haven't been reading as much as I was during the Summer so I need to catch up on my books!

Encountered this fun and interactive art museum with virtual reality components. LMK By One Dome Global.

Some well over due mani & pedi by lovely I got my eyes on you... short and simple the way I like it.

Not even 2 weeks and we went back to Kusakabe and they remember us! It's beginning Spring Time so some of the items on the menu were changed since the other time we came. This time I took a photo of everything so I can remember that we had. I'm a little shy when it comes to taking photos at Omakase dinners because I want to fully enjoy the dining experience rather than interrupt myself taking my phone out for some photos.

A selection of things we had...My favorite is the chu-toro, nodoguro, crab, and wagyu!

Saw one of my good friends for 'brunch' and I've always wanted to try Breakfast at Tiffany's. It was alright to me, I think Dottie's was much better but service at Tiffany's was much better than Dottie's for sure. I ordered the Benedict Trio which has a loco moco, corn hash, and fried chicken benedict.

I have some fun things planned rest of April which I'll share next time...until then..

Weekly Wellness : Week 14 (April 1 - 7)

It was my birthday the past week and I am so thankful for all the beautiful lovely people in my life. I thought I would have made another post sometime mid-last week but that didn't quite happen. Anyways another incoming #foodporn post...featuring all the places I ate at over the past week.

There's this hole in the wall place that I go to for their curry which is bomb-tastic, Back Room in Richmond District has a basic curry over rice and you can add on toppings which I always opt for the Katsu and Omelette and drink wise I always come here for the Kinako Latte!

I caught a show at the Regency Ballroom (one of my lesser favorite live houses) Children of Bodom is back in San Francisco!

CuteBrainPants showed me this cool gem in Palo Alto Teaquation & Tonic walking distance from the Caltrain station. It's super cute and has a fun menu! We got some drinks, appetizers,  and I tried their Chicken Chashu Bowl which was pretty good!

I couldn't resist this place Bon, Nene for I love LOVE their Mentaiko Spaghetti that I came here again. Super small cozy place but gets packed quick. Simple dish but heavy on the butter which makes it even more delicious! I don't say no to butter.

I stumbled across this member's only club called the Modernist and while I don't have experience with any type of member's only clubs this bar experience was a little underwhelming. I care more about enjoying yourself and having a good time so this bar was just 'meh' to me.

Got lunch at Kin Khao a place that I frequent, my favorite is their spicy chicken wings and Khao Soi!!

I explored Noe Valley over the weekend and it's really a fun area to hang out in. Lots of interesting shops, cafes, sweets, and dogs! Dog Heaven!

Christopher Elbow Chocolates!

1760 Polk, solid date place. Food was good but nothing extraordinary. My favorite was the mushroom soup shot, salad, and the braised short ribs.

Octavia. Delicious fun small plates to share. Went here for my birthday and was amazing! Service could be better but everything was really good!

Trestle. Pre-fixed $39 + tip/tax comes with appetizer, main course, and dessert. Their menu changes daily so be sure to check their website for what they are serving. I loved everything and the beignets were so good!!

Angelic Pretty Spring/Summer 2019 : Fruity Lemon

Yes!! I am SO excited for this series! Perfect for Spring/Summer and finally a new fruit print that is not cherries or strawberries. I'm torn between white and mint although yellow would be fun to coordinate as well. I love the adorable birpp as well and my bet is that it will be another fast sell out *cries in lolita*

Weekly Wellness : Week 13 (Mar 25 - 31)

Hi! I can't believe it's already April. A little behind on posts and scheduling. I changed up my Weekly posts to be updated every Monday instead of Sunday, I'm not sure why I started my week on Sundays. Not much has happened in the past week as I got a little sick again. I am going to be making a website for my webshop so I can expand outside of just using Depop, so this is my main big project for the next few weeks :)

I went to my first Baby Shower of my lovely Lash Girl, congratulations! I always think it's so sweet and beautiful when I see two people very in love.

As I mentioned I was sick earlier this week so I wasn't able to get much done but I did some how manage to try out some more new places in the city which I'll share here. Perhaps I should just review places on my yelp account..? Haha I won't. I love finding little gems in San Francisco.

Lite Bite is a healthy option place where you can grab...a light bite! They have calorie information listed on all their food options and some go by weight. I was craving a smoothie and I ordered the one of their Green Smoothies the Super K which was surprisingly tasty. I don't usually like kale but it's a little sweet with some spices.

Urban Ritual. I haven't had boba in a long time but a friend was visiting and we checked this neat place out. I ordered the Matcha Toffee with Honey Boba and it was pretty good. I LOVE toffee and wasn't expecting it in milk tea drink. Small shop but fun drinks.

Bon, Nene. Finally got around to trying this place out! We ordered and shared the hijii salad, champignon pasta, and mentaiko spaghetti. I also got a frozen Kirin. My favorite out of the two noodle dishes hands down the mentaiko. Creamy and buttery with flavorful mentaiko roe! The champignon pasta was great also and had a hint of smokey roasted garlic flavor. Great place for lunch.

Kusakabe. My 3rd time here and I love the experience everytime! This is omakase style and what is served is seasonal. I recommend this because I went a few times and it's always been great, service and food. Everything.

Wako. Must be on a omakase binge because I also came to Wako the same week and it's so amazing. I love their hassun dishes and the nigiri is tasty and fresh. Always good stuff. I have nothing bad to say, minus it can get a little stuffy since it's a small place.

That's all for my updates from the past week, I'm still a little under the weather but I'm hoping I can get over this quickly. Bye Now :)
