Louboutin Karistrap 70 Black Suede 16W

The Karistrap 70 is my current favorite on the go pair of shoes. The low heel is great for everyday wear and for when I'm out and about doing errands. I got these in 34.5 which fits perfectly but like most Christian Louboutin heels, the designs have a narrow foot so after a while they still get a tad sore. I didn't get a chance to take a photo of these beauties and I was in a hurry to wear them out and break them in as soon as I got my hands on these and I've been wearing them a bit that I need to get the soles repaired soon or repainted. I love the suede over the leather and it just goes with everything!!

Louboutin Kate 85 Black-Loubi Patent Degraloubi "DECOLLETE 554" 19S

I was hooked on the red and black color combo and graffiti style letter pattern when I was looking for a low heel pair of shoes which could be worn to both casual and formal occasions. Minding my own business while walking around in Neiman Marcus after eating lunch at the Rotunda, I spotted these cuties in size 34.5. It's the Decollete 554 which is now renamed to Kate 85 in the Patent Degraloubi. I love tall heels but having something that is more comfortable for everyday wear is also attractive to me. I've been wearing these quite a bit and they go with a lot of casual outfits, white top and jeans, or just with black leggings!

Louboutin Pigalle Plato 120 Black Patent Leather Classic

The first pair of Louboutin Heels that I fell in love with and what got me hooked to this brand. These are the Pigalle Plato 120 in Black Patent Leather in size 34.5 from their Classic Collection. I heard Louboutins run small so I wasn't sure if I should get the 34.5 or 35 but I also heard that the leather will stretch after some wear so I went with the 34.5. I had to order these from the Las Vegas Boutique Shop since they were sold out online and unavailable in the SF Flagship Store.

What can I say? Simple black heels, both feminine and dangerous. I was debating on the 100 or 120 but seeing that there is a slight platform, I went with the 120. These look amazing with anything you wear, or not wear...and I have so many outfit ideas for these babies. The toe box is a bit narrow so only slight discomfort after a few hours, though beauty is pain!

Angelic Pretty Spring/Summer 2019 : Un Birthday

This is the last print release from Angelic Pretty's Spring/Summer 2019 Collection and is also a special collaboration with Imai Kira. I like the print itself but the cuts don't jump out at me, though I'm leaning towards sax or grey. I'm curious to see what other prints will be next for the next collection in the Fall/Winter!

Weekly Wellness : Week 20 (May 13 - May 19)

Apologies for the lack of updates the past 3 weeks. I said to myself that I would be good about blogging and updating even if it's nothing major going on. I am currently in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for a work related trip with some pleasure. Left May 13th evening and got to Addis Ababa on Wednesday midnight, and it's now been a week since I left home. Trip has been slightly extended due to thunderstorms and work. I do miss home though, even though it's a place with beautiful nature all around.

It's very eye opening and interesting being in a 3rd World Country where there is a clear divide of those who have money and those who do not. I spend most my days in the hotel but in my free time I went to Addis Ababa University to see the African Studies Museum and I went to Etoto Museum. Such a beautiful culture and history.

I also went to a Cultural Show where they have traditional Ethiopian music and instruments and dance along with food! I'd say I'm pretty open minded when it comes to food but I also want to be careful not to get sick here as I have about another week left.

Places don't really have numbers or signs, there is no 'Yelp' for restaurants, power outages are the norm though you'd wish you known while stuck in the elevator, people are friendly and speaks English, Italian food here is amazing due to them trying to colonize, and way of life and customs are very different!
